Your tasks

• • Disposition of silo vehicles for international local and long-distance transport.
  • Planning and optimising tours taking into account factors such as travel times, load and driver availability
  • Communication with customers, drivers and carriers.
  • Monitoring the transport process and timely response to any disruptions
  • Creation and processing of freight documents and shipping documents
  • Close cooperation with scheduling and fleet management
  • Control and optimization of transport costs

Prerequisites

• • Completed training in the forwarding or logistics sector desirable
  • Professional experience in scheduling truck transport is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German - another foreign language desirable - but not required
  • Confident use of MS Office
